An accomplished restaurant developer, operator, and business manager with over 15 years of hospitality experience, Love’s diverse network of industry contacts and investors across the UAE has helped drive Ribbon Consulting to be the successful hospitality firm it is today.
After graduating from Switzerland’s esteemed Glion Institute of Higher Education with a BBA in Hospitality Management, Love decided to spend several years working in the US, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and the UK to further develop his skills in the hospitality industry. As a result, he gained extensive global experience across all areas of hospitality.
Born and raised in Dubai, Love moved back to the UAE in 2008, working as the Area Operations Manager for a private restaurant group overseeing the opening and management of several F&B brands across the UAE and Oman. With deep technical knowledge under his belt and a natural entrepreneurial spirit, Love decided to open his own consultancy in 2012, knowing that his solid hospitality training, extensive experience, and creative flare could be combined to create some fantastic F&B concepts.
Having graduated with Honors from the Kelley School of Business at Bloomington, Indiana in the United States, Munira contributes nearly 10 years of corporate finance expertise and strong business acumen to Ribbon Consulting.
Her primary role as a Senior Analyst in the Equity Research team at NBK Capital involved conducting independent valuations of potential business opportunities in the MENA banking sector. She was presented the first NBK Capital Excellency Award in 2010 among 200 employees, in recognition of her strong work ethic, business analytical skills, attention to detail and team leadership.
Munira became a part of the Ribbon team to fulfill her passion of getting things done, right and on time. Munira’s ‘perfectionist’ attitude and strong organization skills allows her to efficiently oversee various aspects of Project Management and Execution from inception to completion.
As a step towards Ribbon’s vision of expanding beyond the UAE, Munira is now based out of Mumbai, heading Ribbon’s hospitality consulting division in Mumbai, India since January 2017.
Chef Pradip completed his education in Hospitality Management and Advanced Programme in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Academy of India. His F&B journey began at the Intercontinental Hotels in Mumbai.
Chef Pradip has since trained and worked with various famous Chefs in Hotels and restaurant establishments across the world, allowing him to refine his cooking skills, knowledge and understanding of unique food concepts. Over the last 14 years Chef Pradip has travelled through Europe, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and India, accumulating experience from renowned brands including Emirates Leisure Retail, Alabbar Enterprises and Costa Cruises to name a few.
Chef Pradip heads Ribbon’s culinary space as the Head Chef Consultant. He oversees all new product development, menu engineering, back of house production and training, hygiene and cleanliness implementation, inventory control, wastage management and overall efficiency in the kitchen operations.
Humera holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from India and brings in more than 8 years of experience in Human Resource Management and Talent Management. She has primarily worked with Start-ups and the Service Industry.
Within HR Management her expertise lies in Recruitment and Staffing, Compensations & Benefits, Employee Grievances and People Management. She began her career with an International Research & Management Company, where she worked for over 4 years, wherein she was responsible for Talent Management and helped successfully build the organization’s staffing strength from 20 to 550 employees while setting up 3 new branches. She then managed and structured an entire HR unit for a startup firm.
At Ribbon, Humera is responsible for all HR, Procurement, and Administrative tasks. Her responsibilities include fulfilling all HR requirements for Ribbon and its Clients including, Candidate Selection, Recruitment Documentation, Payroll Processing, PRO liaising and management, implementing Policies and Procedures, overseeing Legal formalities, and Training and Induction processes. She also oversees all vendor sourcing, co-ordination and management.
Combining over 5 years of professional experience in business management, operations and accounting, Zainab recently completed an MBA from the prestigious IE business school in Madrid, Spain. Her areas of strength include process automation and development, people management and communication. She was born and raised in Dubai, which makes her knowledge of and network in the UAE an asset to Ribbon. Starting off her career in Finance with General Electric, she moved on to joining her family business in the shipping industry, focusing on operational efficiency and people management. She has completed a Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking, from City & Guilds, London, through the International Center for Culinary Arts in Dubai.
Zainab is extremely passionate about food, especially witnessing first-hand how the F&B space has evolved in the UAE, and is a part of Ribbon's team in the capacity of an Executive Consultant. She oversees business development and client account management. She is also involved in various aspects of Operations, Product Development, HR and Marketing
Rahul Malik comes from the renowned Malik family that owns and operates Good Day Foods Pvt. Ltd. In India. Not only has Rahul made a strong identity for himself in the family business, his passion for the food and beverage industry led him to becoming one of the first franchisees of Subway in Mumbai.
Beyond owning and operating seven (7) Subway stores across Mumbai, Rahul also owned Le Soleil, a healthy café and a fine dine restaurant. He has since launched the first of its kind Indian concept serving food quickly and electronically, which currently operates out of two branches in Mumbai. He also launched 12 dairy stations as Retail Head of Good Day Foods Pvt. Ltd.
With more than 12 years of experience in the F&B industry, Rahul has strong vendor partner relationships with renowned brands including Mc Donald’s, Dominos and Subway. His experience in managing all service, financial and operational matters and making strategic decisions for business development adds tremendous value to each project.
Hailing from a family that has been in the restaurant business for more than 50 years, hospitality flows in the blood of Davinder Arora. He graduated as a BBA in Hospitality & Management in 2003 from the Glion Institute in Switzerland. Having worked with top-notch hotel chains, Davinder enhanced his skills across different operational departments over a decade, staying focused on building processes. He has helped set up trendy Café operations, diverse bars and unique restaurant concepts over the years. He understands requirements for setting up a restaurant business from the grass-root level and excels in implementing operational standards and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.
A linguist with seven different languages, he spent a considerable amount of time living in Francophonic and Hispanic countries across continents. Being a Food & Wine Connoisseur, his passions include coffee, wine, cheese and exotic meats. Furthermore, having a background in Technology, he has consulted at software enterprises, and headed projects catering to hospitality, gaming, travel and e-commerce.
Davinder has been associated with Ribbon Consulting for over three years, handling various aspects of Project Management, Technology, Systems Implementation, Inventory Tools Management, Data Analysis, and F&B Cost Engineering.
